Confirm the Complete Tilting Setup

Confirm whether your process requires 3+2 positioning or simultaneous motion. A tilting mechanism alone does not establish simultaneous machining capability. Review the machine/controller interface, motor and feedback configuration, clamping sequence and programming support. The rotary and tilting axes must be confirmed separately.

Load and Installation Checks

Include the workpiece, chuck, fixture and attached components in the total load. Use the rating for your actual orientation. Confirm load offset, allowable moments, inertia, cutting forces and clamping requirements with the supplier before selection.

Check the full swept envelope throughout the programmed tilt and rotation, including tool, spindle, machine enclosure, fixtures and cables. Mechanical travel does not guarantee collision-free machining.
